What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplanning is a procedure that involves manually exfoliating the top layer of the skin, the epidermis, with a custom surgical blade. Also known as microblading. This treatment removes dead skin cells, debris, dirt and oil that makes skin look dull.
How many treatments do I need?
Treatments can be administered monthly or every 3 to 4 weeks. The skin needs time to rejuvenate before another treatment can be applied.
Is the treatment safe?
The treatment is safe and effective because it is performed by a skincare provider. Do NOT attempt to use a scalpel or blade on your face at home. It takes feather like control and precision to complete this procedure. Since the procedure does not use harsh chemicals, it is also safe for pregnant and lactating clients.
Post procedure instructions
There are not specific post procedure instructions and there is no down time for this treatment. As always you should take care of your skin at home. We can recommend excellent skincare products specifically for after care treatment and on a daily basis.
